4. AI-Powered Features & Data Processing
Our platform uses artificial intelligence to provide interview feedback, grammar corrections, and language coaching. Here is how your data is handled by our AI providers:
What data is sent: Your interview answers (text) are sent to our AI providers (OpenAI and Google Gemini) for analysis. We do not send your name, email, or other personally identifiable information with these requests.
AI training: Data sent via our API is not used to train AI models. Both OpenAI and Google's API terms of service confirm that API data is not used for model training.
Voice recordings: Audio recordings are processed in real-time for transcription and pronunciation analysis. They are not permanently stored by our AI providers and are deleted immediately after processing is complete.
Data retention by AI providers: OpenAI retains API data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes it. Google processes data in real-time with no long-term retention.
Your right to opt out: If you prefer not to have your data processed by AI, you can use our offline analysis features (ESL pattern detection, filler word analysis) which run entirely on your device. Contact englishjobready@hotmail.com for any AI data concerns.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Practice session data — your written answers, the transcript of what you said, and your scores — is stored so we can provide progress tracking, historical feedback and coaching continuity. We do not store your voice recordings. Audio is transcribed and then discarded; only the transcript and the length of your answer are kept. You can request deletion of your account data at any time, and account deletion removes associated personal data from our systems within 90 days (subject to legal obligations).

This AI-generated feedback is for educational purposes only and does not produce legal effects or similarly significant decisions concerning you. We do not use fully automated decision-making or profiling to make decisions that affect your access to services or produce legal effects. All subscription and account decisions involve human oversight.
